Additional Information about Carex Feather Falls ™

Carex 'Feather Falls' features bold green and white grassy foliage on large plants with a graceful, cascading form. It forms low to medium-height tufts, making it an excellent choice for ground cover or edging. This variety offers greater sun tolerance than other variegated Carex oshimensis and also demonstrates good heat resistance.

Growing & Maintenance Tips for Carex Feather Falls ™

Thrives in light to partial shade and rich, well-drained soil with dry to average moisture. It is sensitive to extreme heat and may struggle in such conditions. In northern climates, it should be planted in a sheltered location to protect it from harsh winter winds and provided with insulation, such as snow or straw. If the foliage appears worn in early spring, cutting the plant back to the ground will encourage fresh growth.
