This heat tolerant selection of shasta (pronounced shaster below the Mason-Dixon line) daisy has been passed along through southern gardens for years before it acquired the name of Decatur, Georgia landscape designer Becky Stewart. The glossy dark green rosettes rise to 36" tall in spring, and are topped with large white daisies in early summer (June and July). C. 'Becky' is one of the best forms I have grown and is particularly good in the heat of the south. They stand upright, even after flowering and a hard rain, and flower for up to 8 weeks if the large, white flowers are deadheaded. - Allan Armitage
Growing & Maintenance Tips for Leucanthemum × superbum 'Becky'
Plant in full sun with good drainage, especially in areas where winter rain is common. It is a good plant for southern gardens. Deadheading may allow a second bloom.
