Aromatic silver foliage brightens the garden from spring through fall, while whorls of violet-blue flowers attract butterflies from late summer through fall.  Valuable in the perennial or shrub border, late-blooming flowers appear when few other shrubs are in bloom.  Sterling Silver® was found as a seedling of C. 'Longwood Blue'.

Growing and Maintenance Tips

Cut back in early spring to ensure good branching and promote vigorous new stem growth; plants bloom on new growth.  This compact, shrubby perennial is best grown in full sun and is drought tolerant once established.  No serious insect or disease problems.
