Caryopteris x incana 'Lisaura' Hint of Gold™ PP20608

Blue mist shrub or bluebeard

Zesty two-tone, lemon-lime foliage color
Light lavender-blue flowers
Blooms late summer through early autumn
Well-drained soil in full sun; drought tolerant
Tidy, compact, rounded habit

If the profusion of gorgeous flowers are not convincing enough...the foliage sure is! Hint of Gold™ blew us away in trial at North Creek, unwavering in one of the most brutal summers in recent history. An open pollinated, naturally occurring hybrid of C. incana and C. clandonensis, ‘Lisaura’ was selected for tidy, compact habit and broad, aromatic, golden colored foliage. Flowering late summer into autumn, Amethyst-blue flowers appear in whorls along sturdy stems and persist for approximately 8 weeks. A highly ornamental shrub perfectly suited for the mixed border, in a container, as a specimen planting, or incorporated into a seasonal cut flower arrangement. Scented flowers are guaranteed to attract pollinators to the garden while you enjoy a dazzling combination of flower and foliage.
