Gold Lace swamp sunflower

In late September it becomes a bold fountain of gold that is a traffic stopper.  Fine textured foliage throughout the season.  Also known as "the good deep green, leather leaved form of H. salicifolius."

Interesting Notes

Though it is usually found in swampy conditions in the wild, Helianthus angustifolius works well in most any sunny site. It will be less assertive when planted in dryer spots.

Growing and Maintenance Tips

Grow Helianthus angustifolius in full sun and average to moist soil. Drought tolerant once established. Tolerant of a wide variety of conditions, Swamp Sunflower prefers consistent moisture while establishing.
