Interesting Notes

'Pink Beauty', found by the wonderful plantsperson, Edith Edelman in a North Carolina garden, has been offered under various names, including Boltonia rosea. Plants are more open and lanky than 'Snowbank' and bear dozens of pale pink flowers in late summer and fall. Provided with sun and decent soil, they can grow 5' tall and often require some support. Growing and Maintenance Tips

Although it will certainly tolerate periods of drought, Boltonia prefers average to moist soil and will withstand periodic wet feet. Full sun is essential for maintaining an upright stature. Cut back in early to mid summer to achieve a less lanky habit.
