Prairie Lode sun drops

A vigorous native prairie species covered in 1” vivid yellow flowers from May through September. Narrow, lance-shaped foliage produce orange buds from which flowers emerge. A compact groundcover perfectly suited for the rock garden, dry border or edging.

Growing and Maintenance Tips

Best grown in dry, gravelly or sandy, well-drained soils in full sun. Late winter or early spring cutback will increase flower production; can become coarse if left unpruned for several years. Drought tolerant once established.
