Geranium maculatum 'Ingwersen's Variety' - 50 per flat
A great groundcover geranium. This Geranium macrorrhizum selection has been working hard in gardens since 1929. Light pink flowers with darker sepals and stems are held high above thick green foliage. Tolerates bright shade and drier soils. Order early!
Sun to partial shade, well-drained soil.
Pale rose-pink flowers. Abundant, spreading mass of highly aromatic foliage has flowers that leave bunches of crimson-red, berrylike seedheads as the petals fall away. Rounded, full-formed, apple-green leaves. - Darwin Perennials
Awarded the 1993 RHS Award of Garden Merit.
Geranium is derived from the Greek geranós, meaning crane. The common name, cranesbill, derives from the shape of the fruit capsule that appears in some of the species.
