Thalictrum rochebrunianum - 50 per flat
This giant, clump-forming plant has lots of appeal. Deep wine purple stems are topped with broad umbels, of bright, lavender clusters accented by yellow stamens, in July and August. Dainty, maidenhair fern-like foliage.
T. rochebrunianum prefers rich, moist, well-drained soils in full to part sun. Intolerant of intense heat and humidity. Propagate by seed or spring division. Deadhead to prolong blooming season. May require support during flowering. Best used in borders, meadows and naturalized areas. Most attractive when mass planted.
