Position Summary

The Marketing Manager implements North Creek's brand initiatives and marketing communications strategy.  The Manager works with colleagues across departments to align marketing and commnications with company initiatives.  The Manager will be involved in supporting key vendor relationships and enhancing our customers' experience while building opportunities to increase sales revenue.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Develop and curate engaging content to represent the North Creek brand
Coordinate digital calendar for horticultural and ecological markets, including seasonal new product launches, sales and product brochures, promotional literature for external and internal events
Create and maintain outward facing social media and website content; write, copy, select photography and schedule posts for social media platforms
Assist with the planning and execution of tradeshows and in-house customer events
Analyze current market conditions and competitor information as necessary
Track website and social media analytics; prepare reports as required
Manage photo library and add photo content throughout the calendar year
Perform additional marketing tasks as needed

Knowledge / Skills Required

Exceptional written and verbal communication essential
Highly organized, with the ability to communicate effectively across internal and external teams to keep projects on track and within budget
Willingness to travel regionally and nationally for customer interaction and trade events
Analytical and strategic outlook, with a knowledge of current social media trends
Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud; willingness to learn customized computer software

Education

Bachelor's degree in marketing or horticulture preferred, but will consider prior business experience

Travel: some travel required
